Age of vines: 5-25 years
Terroir: The grapes for this wine originate from the location of the Edelgrund, a location of the Heideboden, which has been designated as "Edelmannische Gründe" since the early 16th century and belongs to the municipal area of Gols.
Cultivation: yield reduction to 9 grapes/ vine, selectively harvested by hand on September 18th
Maturation: selection of grapes, gentle processing, controlled maceration, deacidification, aged 12 months in large wooden casks and in frequently refilled barrique, bottled on 25 November 2016
Wine: dark ruby red with an bright violet edge; intense compact cherry, blueberry and blackberry fruit extending through the palate; full bodied, very juicy and smooth with a mature velvety tannin and a long finish (22.11.2016)
