Terroir: The grapes for this wine come from the Lüsswiese site, in the Podersdorf commune, directly next to the lake. It is characterised by a loose, dark sandy ground with loam and clay-laden subsoil.

Cultivation: yield reduction to 7 grapes/ vine; selectively harvested by hand on 22nd and 30 october

Maturation: selection of grapes, gentle processing, controlled maceration, deacidification, aged 11 months in frequently refilled barrique, bottled on 30 march 2016

Wine: dark purple red with an lightness orange edge; intensive spicy bouquet of dark cassis and blackberries; the palate is fruity, fleshy in structure with stringent compact tannins, elegant and well-balanced (21.03.2016)
