st. laurent 2013 goldberg quality wine

Age of vines: till 11 years

Terroir:The grapes for this wine originate from the Goldberg, a part of the Parndorfer Platte, which is a cooler location averted from the see with an ferreous heavy brash soil.

Cultivation: yield reduction to 8 grapes/ vine, selectively harvested by hand on 27 September 

Maturation: selection of grapes, gentle processing, controlled maceration, deacidification, aged 18 months in barrique, bottled on 26 August 2015

Wine: deep dark ruby red; intense nose of currant and blackberry with gentle nuances of vanilla and spicy herbs; flashy, lively and juicy with an persistent berry fruit on the palate and good mature tannin texture as well soft notes of licorice; long finish. (27.08.2015)
